Aerification, rolling and new bunker attachment

Here are some pics from the past week. A nice early morning shot of our greens roller on #10. The past 15 months with our roller have seen greater consistency throughout our greens as well as better ball roll out.

Fairway aerification was begun this week and this shot is of #9. 3/4" tines on 3" spacing pull 4" deep cores which are then dragged and blown off the fairway. We follow ASAP with 12 lbs gypsum and water it in.

The new bunker rake attachment approximated the finish of our hand raked greenside bunkers and will eliminate the furrows created by our previous unit. The purchase of this attachment was a direct result of discussions in our greens committee meetings.
